I have attached two photos to help you understand what you will receive with this package. Two LP-E6 batteries, a USB charging deck and a USB-A to micro USB cable. The charging deck also accepts a USB-C cable. Nice touch.

I think that's GREAT. Canon offers a standard 120V charger with LP-E6 compatible cameras, which works very well when you're close to an outlet. But this little charging deck will come in very handy for long distance shooting as I can charge the batteries in the car.

Now for the charging deck itself. When you power it via USB, the two LEDs will glow green. The batteries are secure and the light will turn red to indicate the battery is charged. When a battery is fully charged, the LED will turn green again.

Small disadvantage: As with the Canon standard charger, the current charge status of the battery is not displayed with the "number of blinks". It's only red or green. I don't consider this a deal breaker. It's also quite... deliberately charged. I don't know if I would call it slow. Just not as fast as the AC charger.

But is that a deal breaker? Not for me. With this offer I get two more batteries and an alternative charging method, so the value is quite high.

As I have said in other reviews, these batteries are consumable only. I occasionally see people negatively reviewing the performance of spare batteries, but I've never observed this to be an issue myself. I firmly believe in having enough batteries ready to go, especially when I'm shooting videos.

This deal has an easy five stars. The charger increases the value of the included batteries.
