very good price but....
I've been meaning to rate this product. First let me start with quality and value for the money; it is on point for what it delivers. My negative on this is that the lock in holder keeps rotating because it doesn't tighten enough around the rim. Is the main reason I only gave it a 2 start rating. I mean, you can't put the filters sideways because it just moves back down by itself. I still use it because it doesn't affect my image quality and it fits all my lens. Wish they could've fix this issue.

Truly wireless, easy and clear.
Great easy camera for security. Probably best for your front doorway. I have it on the outside of my house and it does show the entire yard but I have to get a ladder to get it down. Luckily it comes with a magnetic mount so I can just pull it off easily. It also comes with a mount you screw in if you put it somewhere easier to get to. The audio and picture gets worse the farther you put it away obviously. The app is very well made and walks you threw the setup. For me it took about fifteeen minuets to install and setup. Also comes with double sided tape option for your magnetic mount just make sure you clean the surface your mounting to, then let the mount sit there stuck without the camera for a day. No wires makes this camera worth the money. I am going to buy more.

Happy w/ it, would buy again
In general, I'm actually really quite pleased w/ this camera. For the price especially, hard to complain about much. The picture quality isn't GREAT, but it's adequate.My single complaint was w/ how time consuming the setup was due to needing to upgrade the firmware and format the card on a computer vs in the camera itself. Initially, it just wasn't working and I didn't know why. Customer service online talked me through it and was really helpful, but I was really surprised w/ the fact a brand new camera needs to have its firmware updated RIGHT out the gate. Super annoying. Since laptops don't have SD card inserts, i'm lucky I had an adapter that I could even do the upgrade. But once I got that complete, it's been really great.

For all your outdoor fun adventures
Purchased this to take on my floating trips down the Boise River. Definitely got the job done and was a ton of fun to be able to get some video and snap shots of the group hitting some rapids. I would say this is a pretty comparable product to the GoPro's, however, the app to use this is terrible. I think it bugged on my at least 7 times while trying to access my camera via my phone. But, if you have a place to insert a memory card into, then the app is a non-issue. I also bought an accessory kit with this and would highly recommend you get one of some kind. It does come with a bracket already assembled on the camera, so if you have something to attach it to, then you're good to go! Not a top of the line action camera, but for the price you can't beat it.

Low maintenance, but high quality pictures
A nice little camera that requires little attention for maintenance. As the camera has its own solar panel, the set up was super easy and did not require wires and extension plugs, you can basically put it anywhere the sun shines on. I was first a little concerned about whether the night vision quality will be good enough as my back yard doesn't have a lot of refractions of ambient light, but it turned out amazingly good. The video recording is motion triggered, and is good enough in terms of sensitivity.

Fantastic Customer Service!
We absolutely love our camera. We got it for a trip to Florida and it did not disappoint. The picture quality and how easy it is to use was so nice. However the best part of the purchase was customers service afterwards. Recently our waterproof case clip developed a crack n t making it not water tight anymore. Since we use it all the time for that purpose alone I reached out to Akaso about a replacement and they were fantastic! Within two days of contacting them they were shipping out a replacement case free of charge. That kind of customers service is what would make us purchase another camera from them again (as well as how great the camera works). So impressed by the way they handled it! Very excited to get some underwater pictures again since summer is in full swing!

Good quality, easy set up, great outdoor video, ve
I purchased the camera for outdoor use. When it arrived, set up was incredibly easy and fast. Downloaded the Cloudedge app, paired with my wifi and I was watching the video in no time. I did purchase and install a SD card for saving video, screenshots and alerts. While the temp has only dipped down I to the 20's so far, the camera has stood up to freezing temps, rain and snow. The picture quality is great for a camera at this price point. The Cloudedge app allows me to set notifications to my phone when motion is detected. The night vision works very well and is incredibly clear. My only complaint is that I wish the video started recording just a tad bit sooner when motion is detected. I am going to guess there is a 1-2 second lag. But even with that slight delay, I just purchased a second unit.

i was going to buy a GoPro but after realising this camera had as high a number of 5 star reviews on amazon (if not higher) i did some research and realised for a first timer this action camera was great as it included everything i would need and more. i love the functionality and originally bought the ek7000 pro but ultimately chose this one because the superior eis (electronic image stabilisation) which was a high priority for me. both were touchscreen although i felt this one had a more expensive feel to it. its impressively small and compact and i love the waterproof case bundled with it that gives it an even more robust feel. the splashproof wrist remote is also great for when your camera is mounted and i appreciate getting two batteries already included.you will have to download the manual online though.

AKASO Brave 4 4K 20MP used for BSA EAGLE SCOUT in
I bought this AKASO Brave 4 to document my son's EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT = "YELLOWSTONE POND" (during the months of May/June months)! The main reason was to have a camera that had a self sustaining time lapse feature that would record the process of the project in time increments and didn't want to invest in an expensive GoPro.
