I have less worry about my expensive camera or phone laying on it and falling. The legs lock into place and don't go anywhere. The rotating ball is silky smooth. You don't feel any jerks or hear any noise, making it perfect for rotating while filming even though it's marketed as a panorama. It would be nice to have a longer knob to make it easier though. Had a phone attachment to mount your phone in horizontal mode. No frills, just attach and go. No vertical mode unless you have a small phone. A carrying case is included for safe storage and easy transport. The package also includes tools that you can use to tighten the legs if necessary.

For its price, it's a great value, other small, cheap tripods aren't built as sturdy or don't have the professional features of this model. The 263A4 tripod lacks a hook to stabilize it when hanging a backpack. In fact, the center pole doesn't slip like most tripods.
