Having had a Manfrotto tripod before this, there is definitely a difference in build quality. However I think the lower price outweighs the build. I moved from Manfrotto because my tripod was faulty and the customer service was appalling. For really heavy cameras with a long lenses, this might not be the one for you. But with a regular DLSR this is great because;- its lightweight- ball head is fine once you've tightened it up- decent carry case- good quality for the price

Didn't like how the leg latches could get a bit loose, but overall easy to set up and you get what you pay for.

Léger et stable. Parfait pour mes besoins. Je déplore l'absence d'un petit levier pour tourner le support pour les photos à 360 degrés.

I found it very easy to rotate and level the camera using the ball head. Strong and can support large and heavy Sony 70-200mm GM lens including portrait position using ball head rotation. Nice short length when in compacted state. Good price compared to other higher priced models providing same capabilities.

This is very nice. It is lightweight at 1.1 kg but can handle a payload of 10kg (22lb). I plan to use it with a Nikon D7100 (3.3lb) and also a Celestron 90mm Maksutov spotting scope (about 5 lb) both of which are too heavy for my lightweight Manfrotto tripod.
