This is the second tripod I've ordered. One is used as a monitor mount and for holding the remote control of a drone when rescuing fawns.
The second is used as a gun tripod for hunting.
Both are subjected to heavy use and are holding up extremely well.
They are very stable, and the ball heads can be locked at any angle. Even with an 8kg rifle on the tripod, the ball head locks securely.
The weight is excellent; even on a long stalk, the tripod isn't a nuisance. The clicking of the locking mechanism is a bit annoying while hunting, but this can be reduced with a little oil until it's barely noticeable.
Overall, a great tripod for all applications.

Getting old & travelling I needed a tripod that would not affect my baggage allowance . I was impressed that it held my Nikon D3s with 2-70mm F2.8 lens ( a hefty lump of kit over 2.2Kg ) and was not affected by the weight or strong on shore wind the first time i used it . I hardly noticed the minor weight increase , which is a bonus

After ordering a carbon fiber tripod (on Amazon), I noticed a slight wobble upon receiving it, so I returned it with a note explaining this issue to K&F.
To my surprise, I was contacted by: "I am Rina Kuromiya, Customer Service Manager." This person from K&F behaved impeccably.

I had an older K&F tripod model that I bought in 2020, and I finally had to get a new one because the old one was worn out. I was pleasantly surprised by this new model. Excellent value for money. Very happy. It's stable; I used it today here in Nazaré, Portugal, in very windy conditions, and it didn't budge an inch.
