Versatile lightweight travel photography companion.
The K&F CONCEPT 73" Aluminum Compact Camera Tripod boasts a well thought out design that is crafted from quality lightweight materials - shaving pounds from the weight of your camera gear.
The locking ball head is aluminum and the composite ball head socket material grips tightly and don't flex under pressure. The leg segments slide smoothly, and the composite leg locks rotate freely and lock down securely. Fully extended the legs and center post raise the tripod to a respectable 73" height. To keep things secure at this height there's an easy to use hook on the bottom of the center column, to attach ballast like a loaded fanny pack or cross body bag to add weight for stability. Removing that hook allows for the center column to be reversed which allows for unique angles and can get the camera closer to the ground. The tripod is assembled with stainless steel hex bolts, so there are no rough bolt ends or raw metal edges exposed in the construction to scratch any expensive items or gear that are packed alongside the tripod.
Overall, the product cost to product quality ratio is good. You could spend more for a tripod, but if you're looking to purchase a well made, lightweight tripod that will perform in most travel scenarios, this is a solid candidate.
