Local store availability
as simple as it sounds, i cannot for the life of me find a brick and mortar store in the area that sells blank glass microscope slides.
yeah, that's the kind of brick and mortar store that doesn't exist anywhere. a hundred labs around here buying slides by the thousands every week from their suppliers. what's a mom-and-pop slide store doing trying to sell ten at a time?
there are some things i'll seek out local stores for, but for others i have to accept that the internet is more efficient for everyone involved.
looks like you'd have to newton. lakeshore learning materials and even then might not be what you're looking for
harvard has (had?) a vwr store thing on campus to get items like that when labs ran out. i have no idea if there is any option for the general public to purchase items from that or if it even still exists.
100% not open to the general public.
also, there has recently been a shortage of the most common types of microscope slides. the op is probably stuck outta luck until that gets resolved.
