Feed the loop through the camera holes

- there are two holes on the side of the camera.
- you feed the loop in to one hole and it will come out the other hole.
- at this point you feed the hand strap through the small cord you fed through the holes and pull the hand strap taut.
- it takes some force to get the small end to feed through the holes.
Thread the back end of the strap through the loop

- i saw a few posts saying that the wrist strap was difficult to attach to this model camera.
- my wife had trouble getting it threaded through the provided hole on the side of the camera.
- i just took my time and let the loop follow the natural curve of the indentation.
- once the loop is through its a simply matter to thread the back end of the strap through it to secure the connection.
Put the thin side through the hole

- there's a small "hole" near the top of the right side (when looking at viewing window side).
- put the thin side of the wrist strap thru and then put the large side of the strap thru the middle of the thin side to "tie" it on.
Feed loop through the slot
- feed loop through the slot at the right side, then feed wrist portion through the loop and pull snug.
Securing the hand strap
- to avoid dropping the camera, be sure the strap is correctly secured.
- when using the hand strap, adjust the slider asshown to secure the strap around your wrist.
