Fits and has lighting control on the adapter
It works with my minolta/sony E mount lens on my sony A7R II camera body, love the added feature of lighting control options on the adapter. There is no image stabilization or auto focus options with this product.

Decent but not amazing
For the price point you get a fairly solid unit with a ton of adjustment options. The arm fully out to its "max" were the line is has some serious sag with a Sony A7iii on it and a small lens. The ball attachment is okay but you really have to twist to get it to stop moving and it makes me question how long that will last tightened and loosening over time. Otherwise it's a decent unit.

Great Flash
I purchased this flash for my Sony R1. It is completely compatible. I have not needed to use any cables for connection. The flash has been a wonderful addition. If you are looking for a fully compatible flash, this is certainly one of your only choices with Sony, and it is a good one.Of course, it would be nice if it had a horizontal swivel, but I cannot complain about that because I knew that was not a feature I was getting when I purchased it. All in all, I think it is a wonderful addition and one that certainly makes flash photography much more enjoyable.

Flash time, still slow AF
The flash itself is excellent. The auxillary IR beam on the unit helps with autofocus, but is no panacea. So if you own a Sony DSC-R1, you will still find autofocus in dim (read: low interior light at night) light extremely slow. So even with this flash, in dim light you must press the button 2 seconds before you expect to take your picture. I've no experience with the new Sony SLR.

Could be louder, but compact and great for travel
Arrived quickly, lots of sound options, great for traveling and uses a common adapter. Best feature- you can turn off the device lights while in use.

Just got it and love the options for adjusting the light! Also, options for adjusting the desk lamp! It makes my 20 year old swing arm desk lamp look 100 years old!

Needed a replacement adapter for my Surface Pro and this one was perfect, as had the three fit options I wanted for connecting to either screens or projects
