Finally an all-in-one solution
I had the previous K&F version, which had a shiny interior as well as an inner flange, which made it problematic with SMC Takumar lenses. Certain Takumars have an inner tab that moves with the aperture ring (that indicates the aperture on select Spotmatic bodies). The previous version was not very precisely crafted and therefore that tab would touch the inner flange. Therefore I needed a flangeless adapter for my 1.4/50 SMC Takumar. Until now. This new version still has a flange, to allow using the aperture ring on lenses without an A/M switch, but this model is precisely crafted and the tab no longer touches the flange, thus allowing worry-free use of the lens-adapter combo. This, plus the fact that the inner parts have gotten a new matte finish mean that this is finally an all-in-one solution for M42 lenses on Sony E mount bodies. Plus the design fits the aesthetics of my A7II perfectly. This is definitely a good, yet affordable choice. Recommended!

It works but wobbly on the lens side..
I bought 4 of these so I wouldn't have to keep unmounted it from my lenses. However either I didn't notice it before or it degraded over time, but now it wiggles on the lens side. Which I could imagine sucks for dust and miosture. I wish I hadn't bought so many. Maybe just one for the trunk of the car

Wonderful Lens Set Up
We bought the first one for a gift and he loved it so muchwe ordered a kit for ourselves. We live on coast so its will be perfectfor birds and sea lion shots. I highly recommend the Vivitar lensand Big Mikes. Karin

Highly recommended for a starter lens
For the price it’s amazing honestly. The moon is the main reason why I bought this lens and it definitely delivered. The photo of the moon was at a regular distance and I’ve never came close to this type of detail before I had this. It fit my Canon EOS Rebel T7 perfectly. Keep in mind when or if the moon gets closer this lens will take amazing detail.

my first big lens

Quality Product, Quality Company
This lens cost more than many of those other "6 lenses for 1 low price" offers you see on Amazon. I bought one of those previously, and quickly returned the set -- they were plastic, and toy-quality. What I wanted was a decent wide-angle lens for my phone, so I tried this one -- higher price than that other set, for just one lens (well, 2, because there's also a macro, but I wasn't that interested in that feature). Anyway, I can tell you this is absolutely a quality piece of glass and metal. It is NOT a toy -- it is a real, photo-quality lens, and it works beautifully. The packaging is also classy, the supplied video tutorials are great -- you can tell this company takes pride in what they do, it shows. Yes, this costs more, there's a reason for that: it's a LOT BETTER than the others. Buy it.
