Works exactly how it described. Nothing more.
Does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking to mount your canon to a panasonic/olympus body with no features whatsoever, then this is right for you. figured out it didn’t work with my 50mm f1.8 canon stm lens because there wasn’t a connection between the camera and lens. no auto focus and the manual focus on the 50mm f1.8 didn’t even work. in conclusion, spend the $200 and get something that actually allows you to use your lenses to their full potential. unless you’re a manual focus kinda guy/gal (manual focus works with most other lenses.)

Manual focus no good.
I love, love, love the f-stop with this lens. The only thing that frustrates me is I was wanting to do some focus stacking and I am having a hard time getting the manual focus to work have the time. I was under the impression that was fixed when they up graded the Nifty Fifty, but I can insure you it is still an issue.

Fairly decent purchase.
On first impression the lens has a lovely matte black finish and the overall build quality feels and looks like an upgrade. The optics seem as good as the previous version and even slightly better in the bokeh world. The focus ring is smooth enough considering the price. Only thing I disliked about this lens is the fairly noticeable "whining" noise that can be heard when focusing in manual mode. I contacted Canon about this because I thought I had a bad copy. Quickly they replied and told me the noise i'm hearing is due to the motors (STM) in this lens. Generally if you're recording video with this lens and manually focusing, the in cam mic or one close enough will pic up this noise. Overall, I give 3 stars to the lens and 1 for customer service.

Good lens but but too much focus breathing
Too much focus breathing and manual adjustment is not that goodAuto focus is fast and accurate 80%And for manual focus not goodVideo quality is very good as well but the most important is that it's light weight and tiny

Manual focus but works well
I picked this webcam because it is economical and have all sorts of hinges on it so you can have better control of the camera angle with a very specific tilt.Hung it on top of my monitor so that I don't have to have a 'side angle' from my laptop's build-in webcam.Easy to setup, just need a USB port. Only using it for video conferences for work, not using it for anything fancy. Image seems stable and smooth.

Only one sheet of User's Manual is away too simple
Because of only one sheet of the user's manual is too simple, Even I got note :"Set lens in shooting position" from camera, but I have no idea how to do it, so that I can't start shooting any at all. After I got original manual from Canon website, I understand it and finally it works. Please see the attachment.
