I suppose this isn't a fault of the filter itself but it is something that potential buyers should be aware of.My Panasonic Lumix camera has a lens that contracts inside a housing when not in use. I was excited to try out the filter after I received it so I turned on the power to my camera and the lens moved out from its housing. I, then, attached the filter but didn't use the camera immediately so, after 30 seconds, the lens automatically retracted into its housing.Here's the problem -- All other filters I have used have an outer diameter that is the same as the outer diameter of the lenses they fit. That is not the case with this filter -- the outer diameter of the filter is larger than the outer diameter of the lens and smaller than the inner diameter of the housing into which the lens retracts. So, when the lens tried to retract into its housing, it could go only part way before being stopped by the housing. The camera would not turn on again because the lens was not fully retracted into its housing. I had to pry the lens out with a small screwdriver and was, then, able to remove the filter and turn the camera off. Certainly, I didn't want to treat my camera that way but it seemed to be the only altermative; fortunately the camera seems to work as it should after this but the filter is essentially useless with this camera

Stunning portrait pictures
This is a great lens for sharp portrait pictures - it creates a really nice "bokeh"; so everything in the background is blurred while the subject is incredibly focused. Very much so worth the $$, and a great addition to my 18-55 mm lens.

Works great, shame they don't sell them in 2 packs
Perfect for what I needed. They're sticky labels that attach to your lens cap, and the strap fits around the base of your lens. If you're swapping lenses a lot, the strap will come undone and flail around, but hopefully you already have the lens cap on your lens so that means the unit remains whole.I don't know how long the sticky stuff on the lens cap part will hold, but after a couple of months, so far so good. The only concern is that my lens caps have a raised "NOKIA" imprint on them which means when you attach the sticker, it's attaching over the NOKIA word which isn't a full 100% contact with a flat piece of plastic.Another minor complaint is that this package contains 5 lens caps plus a below average cleaning cloth. I don't have 5 lenses, and I already have plenty of great microfiber cleaning cloths, so I basically paid for items I don't need.

Beautiful Lense
This is a quality lens that is well made and beautifully packaged. I was sooooo excited to get it. I was in Hawaii and wondering if there was a lens for an Android phone. Went to Amazon and found this beauty. It arrived super fast and packaged beautifully. YAY!!!!!

Very nice photo quality from a very compact lens
Very nice photo quality from a very compact lens. Good bokeh for a lens in this price range. Low light performance is stellar. My only complaint is that the autofocus servo is fairly slow and quite loud.

Much More Than I Was Looking For
This lens was the best $25 that I've spent. It is machined well and is solid. After watching the tutorials, this lens is now worth $500 to me. Kai Pei gives enough tips in these videos to really help an amateur like me.

Good for Potrait Photos
I bought this lens about 5 years ago. This lens is great for headshots. You'll have to stand back a good distance to get a phtoto of yourself and the remote would be too far away to do so.

Genuine Canon part
I did not consider buying cheap generic replacements because some of them are too thin on the edges so they sit too close to the lens and can scratch your lens if you put pressure on the cap.

Quite simply the best Canon lens I've ever owned. This is the one lens in my kit (I'm a wedding photographer) that if I lost today, I would order another one immediately.
