I rarely leave a review, but I just had to on this one. As the others have stated above, if you read the owners manual while charging the battery, you can take this drone straight out of the box and have it taking fantastic pictures and videos! While flying around using the app or controller like a pro, (I really like the app)But I did not do that. Never owning a drone, I thought I could just take it out and wing it and learn as I go. I literally did EVERYTHING wrong!I didn't read the manual, I did not do the 10 second compass collaboration, and I certainly did not fly it in an open area, but rather my heavily wooded property. So this review is more about the durability of this drone.I Literally beat the hell out of this thing. I crashed into trees 60 and 70 ft in the air, I hit one tree so hard that I literally knocked the SD card out of the Drone. Fortunately there was a beginner mode on by default that brought the Drone back to me and kept me from doing even more damage than I did. (and even though I never found the sd card, I found out it had also backed up the video to my phone!) I have a video of hitting a tree 70+ feet in the air, and as the drone came crashing down it was able to correct itself back upright and hover about 30 feet off the ground.But then I found the beginner mode safety features and promptly turned them off. And decided I was now good enough to really see what this thing could do!I live in Northern New Hampshire, on 24 acres with nothing but mountains and trees around. I took it up above the tree lines and without the beginner mode limits I was able to take it out of sight in no time. And I just flew it and watched the screen on my phone seeing the ground way below, but as high as it was, as it got closer to the adjacent mountain to me, the height I had it at quickly disappeared as it got closer to the mountain tree tops. As I watched the Collision with the 90+ pine tree And the bang up crash all the way down before losing video, I realized I had no idea where this even happened as I had lost sight of the Drone long before this.With 18 to 24” of snow on the ground I knew that finding the drone was highly unlikely, but I had this video that showed the ground along the way, so the next day I went out and looked for it following the video (I am now aware that there was a much easier way with the built in tracking)And there almost a half mile from my house was my drone at the base of this huge pine tree, buried halfway in the ice. I was able to chip it out and retrieve it in one piece.I was sure that the electronics must be shot as it had spent the night in -12 degrees Fahrenheit.I was amazed at the fact that it was still in one piece, and besides the scratches (that do not really reflect the true abuse I put it through) only the propellers were really chewed up.So I wanted to see what still worked and did not want to put the extra blades that came with it on yet, because I was going to order the exact same drone and would put those blades on the new one when needed.Not only did it come on, everything worked, and it flew like the propellers were fine. I was so amazed that I returned it to the ground and actually read the manual while I charged the battery. And now armed with information on how to work the drone it has been a complete pleasure to fly. It turns out that you can avoid all of that with a few clicks in settings and reading the manual.So while I know nothing about drones and can not really compare it to other drones, I do know about quality, impact stress, and gravity, and I can honestly say this thing is amazing!

My son loves his new drone. He had to learn inside before taking outside so we did lose it.

Mini drone is well worth the money, even more. For adults and beginners. As a matter of fact, my son the beginner, picked it up better than I did, the adult!

This thing is soooo cool and easy to fly, it takes great videos and pictures. I 100 percent recommend this drone. Definitely get the fly more package you will want the extra batteries.

This drone was a great gift. My son loves it and had no trouble flying it. In flight it’s very steady and accurate for a drone of this price point. If your a beginner or novice pilot I would definitely recommend this drone. As for the cons, it has a built in camera that can be used in conjunction with a downloadable phone app, the app is supposed to allow control of the camera video and still shot of pictures and flight control using your phone instead of the dedicated controller it comes with, I did not have any luck using those functions but to be fair I didn’t give a whole lot of effort to get these features working nor did I bother to read instructions. I bought this drone mainly for flying and didn’t expect much out of the camera at this price point. I would definitely buy this again for a young pilot.

The only thing I did not understand was the sound listing pamphlet.

This was a huge hit for my nephews, ages 7 and 10. I did a lot of research and am so glad I chose this drone due to the battery life. With a little help from their dad, they were off to the (air) races! Seller was great. The drone arrived quickly, in great condition, and she thoroughly followed up to ensure our happiness.

The first non-toy drone we've bought, and it does not disappoint. For such a tiny thing, it has remarkable stability in the wind and takes great pictures and videos.
