Works fine, but overshoots infinity focus
Using a Leica Summicron-R 90/2 pre-ASPH. Works fine with a nice solid feel. It overshoots infinity focus by a small amount. Better than not reaching infinity, though.Mounting is ever-so-slightly loose. The mechanism that secures the Leica lens to the adapter has some play to it, resulting in *very* minor rotational play. I don't tend to notice it in active use of the lens. I am concerned, however, that this part will wear down from stress.

Surprisingly decent lens for the money
Surprisingly decent lens for the money; took some amazing moon pics with it. In case you're not used to working with a manual lens, Big Mike's includes a document that explains how to use it, with specific instructions for when the image is too dark or too light. The inclusion of the teleconverter is a nice touch. Only one negative thing to say about it -- it seems to focus a tiny bit past infinity, so you have to be careful to make sure you're focused. And use a tripod!

The price to quality is great
Very good lens auto focus works great the image quality is great. I use it for my canon m50 with an adapter so it works perfectly.

Adapter works fine
The adapter is good, delivery was also very fast, i got it just in 1 day.. But if you really wanna use EF or EF-S lens in mirrorless cameras, you have to keep in mind that the sharpness will decrease by a little amount and you you have to focus the subject very correctly, otherwise the picture will become blurry(specially for the prime lens)..

Wonderful image quality for landscapes and macro
I own an EOS R but have mostly been using EF lenses. I decided to spurge on a Canon RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM and a week later it was on my doorstep. My first impressions is it’s build very well: excellent fit and finish, sturdy plastics, metal mount and quality switches and rings. The manual focus ring is silky smooth and ideal for focusing macro subjects. On camera, my optical impressions were equality good: sharp edge to edge from macro to infinity and well corrected for distortion. Use of the lens profile isn’t needed in LR as the distortion and light fall-off are almost invisible. And no flare problems with blazing Hawaiian sunsets! The 0.5x macro is great for flowers and small products, delivering crisp details consistently, albeit bokeh was on the busy side. Hybrid IS provides amazingly smooth stabilization compared to the EF lenses of yesteryear.Focus is accurate and surefooted, rarely missing on my EOS R. When I carefully place individually selected AF points where I desire focus the result is consistently sharp images. I don't trust auto AF selection or zone focus for macro since the camera doesn't have a clue if you prefer the flower center or petal in focus. Single-point AF is especially effective for macro because it allows a precise lock on a small detail whereas a full-sized AF point may overlap multiple details. The only small negative is the auto focus motor is on the noisy side for a modern design—something I was aware of before purchase. Normal focus adjustments and movie servo emit wee creaking sounds. Granted the camera is against your head so it seems louder than it is, but the motor and sliding lens elements actually emit a robotic whirl if cycling from macro to infinity. Not unpleasant but loud enough to be picked up by the built-in mics during video. Use an external mic if you plan video. I normally do anyway (Sennheiser Shotgun mic), but something to consider. With that said, the sound is usually inaudible for your subjects. Some have stated that AF is slow, but that hasn't been my experience. In normal use, the STM drive is nimble, surefooted and locks on almost immediately: plenty fast enough for landscapes, macro and portraits. For movie servo focusing during my video blogs, it was fast on my EOS R. Obviously this optic is not intended to be a sports lens. Like most macro designs, it uses front element extension to focus and is by nature slower to focus than a rear element or internal focus design typical of USM lenses. However, the only time it seems slow is when refocusing from macro range to infinity. If you’re not using the macro range, keep the distance limiter set to the normal range (.5m to infinity) and you’ll avoid that little toil.No hood is included so I bought the JJC ET-77 clone: 90% of OEM quality at 20% of the cost of OEM.All in all a lovely lens: sharp, well corrected for distortion, little or no flare, solidly built, surefooted auto focus and reasonably priced.

Considerably enhances the range and utility of wha
The adapter works as claimed. I've tried it with some Canon lenses I already owned, and the focus is both accurate and reasonably quick. The downside is that the adapter itself adds to the weight and length of any lens attached to it. In many instances this would discourage its use, because it would be difficult to hold it steady. And obviously it could not longer make any pretense toward "pocketability" or unobtrusiveness.

Super sharp
Amazing image quality, for macro and for portraits as well. The focus could be slow but just switch the focus limit in the lens and it will work fast. The best lens!!

Very sturdy
I really needed this adapter for an EF telephoto lens I got. The auto focus I don’t really use I tend to go manual more than anything. It holds this telephoto lens very well especially for its size. I’m glad I got it and have no complaints.
