This microphone does what it says it does! It would be great for karaoke or live performance.Pros:I love how there is a screen on each microphone to show you what channel they are on. Additionally, there is a low battery light to indicate when the battery is running low.The range on these microphones is amazing. I was still getting signal at about 100 feet (it was static here and there), but I was getting great signal at about 45-60 feet. You will not have a problem with range in regard to these microphones.I also love the connect ability. You can connect this microphone to speakers and then you can connect any device (through aux) to the receiver box and still operate both microphones. This would be great for karaoke or live performance situations.Cons:The microphone colors are very vibrant (bright orange and bright green). These colors are located on the bumpers and at the bottom cap of each microphone. I believe this can be very distracting to audience members.Next, I wish the box was powered by itself. It is not necessarily a deal breaker that it needs to be powered, I just wished it was battery powered making it more portable.Finally, the knobs on my receiver box were really hard to move as they had a decent amount of friction. You could hear them scrape as I tried to adjust the knobs.I would not recommend recording with these microphones as it does not sound as crisp as my condenser microphones. The echo feature is cool, but I am unsure of when I would use it. The microphones themself seemed to be made of a durable plastic and at the top is a metal grill encasing each microphone. The receiver was very easy to set up and it came included with everything I needed (including batteries). For two wireless microphones (between $60-$70), I would recommend these microphones for karaoke or live performance.

This is a solid microphone, especially for the price. It would be great for a podcast or any kind of talking voiceover, however I purchased it originally because I wanted to record music - singing, guitar, violin etc and the sound quality isn’t quite up there. The microphone also has a hard time eliminating background noise. So for the purposes of music making, I personally think it’s not worth the buy. But for anything else mentioned above, it’s ok! All depends on what you want to use it for.

Honestly, the mic quality isn't THAT great or a big of an update when you compare it to a headset that is about the same price, BUT the features are nice and the stand functions well.The mic quality is great, just don't expect a big difference if you already have something around its price range.

I bought this to help with my computer gaming. My communication I was told sounded muffled and a bit distorted before. However, now my teammates say that they can hear me very clearly so I am satisfied. Prior to this microphone, I had a plastic USB microphone. Comparatively, this one seems very sturdy and well built. I was able to mount it up with an extending arm and so it added a cool, clean streamer-like look to my setup. Although I do not stream, I see many twitch streamers using mics like this so its awesome. The buttons on the mic like the mute one is helpful too when I have a call to take in game and I do not want everyone to hear what I am talking about

I bought this and the Audio Technica 2040 and these mics are just pure amazing. I'm struggling on which one to keep.. I might just keep them both haha, even though the wife thinks I am crazy. For $99 this thing is built like a tank, could take someone out trying to rob the house. You will have to fine tune some things but out of the box no filters on it I was blown away. I have been using usb mics and finally upgraded to XLR and am just blown away at what they did for $99. Don't pass it up, you can always return if you don't like it but I don't think that will happen!
