DOES NOT STAY ON
Bought this less than two weeks ago and even with a full charge it does not stay on. Turns off about 2min into recording a video. Very disappointed

You will have to remove the phone case for it to work 100%
I bought this product to use for my video shoots, and upon realizing, it does not operate properly when equipping the iPhone with the phone case on for protective reasons. I believe that when making a product such as this for phone purposes, you should expect consumers (like myself) would use protection for their phones.

As expected for the price, but app is not great
The gimbal it self is pretty good for the price, Plastic construction all over and not to heavy in the hand. There are some twitches at time but it's pretty uncommon. The app that they tell you to download tho is garbage. It allows you to start/stop record, zoom, and take photos which is very nice and handy but it's limited to onlr 1080p30 which is just stupid. Also if your phone has multiple lenses, the app won't be able to use them. Would much rather it have a wired connection option to control the stock phone camera app instead

Great Gimbal
Have used several times now and it has yet to disappoint. A bit of a learning curve to get it dialed in but definitely a good addition to my filming accessories. Decent battery life. Could be faster response to movements but once you know that you can adjust your technique accordingly. Price point is good for what you get. You can spend more for better materials and faster response times but this works perfect for me and my needs.

The gimbal works well right out of the package, but the real power comes when the gimbal is used in conjunction with the manufacturer's app. Distinct modes allow you to keep your camera level and directed toward your subject in virtually any scenario.There are lots of features included, and Hohem offers tutorial videos on YouTube that will help you to get the most out of your gimbal.The app allows you to calibrate the gimbal with precision to get the perfect angle. In addition to providing a high level of customization, the app also allows you to activate face tracking so that the gimbal will automatically follow the subject as he/she moves.Overall, the iSteady Mobile Plus is highly recommended!
