Nikon Z7 Review
Compact and lightweight, Nikon Z7 is always my first option when shooting outside particularly for macro and landscape photography. The Nikon Z7 keeps my body relaxed and my mind clear while shooting. Below is the real field review for this camera along with the images i took with this Nikon Z7.
The Z7's battery is compatible with the DSLR's EL15A / EN-EL1 battery. The new EN-EL15b battery also supports USB charging.
The Z7 comes with an MB-N10 battery handle, which accommodates two lithium-ion battery and allows for vertical composition. It can last a whole day long if you carry three batteries with you.
Nikon Z7's silent shutter is useful when taking macro shots like insects. It takes lots of patience to get close to the insects, and they are sensitive to the surroundings.
The Nikon Z7 shares the same 45.75 Mege pixels with the Nikon D850. But the Nikon Z7 features a more advanced Expeed 6 processor than the Nikon D850.
From the center to the edge of the image, you can see the image is sharp and with a lot of details. This camera has the ability to take all kinds of pictures while photographing nature.
The Nikon Z7 comes with more accurate exposure and white balance. When I was shooting the flowers, Z7's ISO 64 brought a more pure image. In terms of tolerance, the Nikon Z7 also showed the high performance.
The Nikon Z7's dynamic tolerance, noise reduction technology and Built-in Five-axis Vr anti-shake system all make me easy to shoot in the wild, where the lighting situation is complex. I don't need to worry too much about image grain caused by overexposure and underexposure. Only little contrast adjustments are needed for the post process.
The Nikon Z7's Z mount design represents a new era. With only 16 mm flange focal distance, the Lens has enough large diameter to let more light entering in. The Nikon Z7 comes to a brighter LCD screen. You can directly notice if the image is underexposed or overexposed on the screen or in the viewfinder. Compared to the optical viewfinder of the DSLR, the image of electronic viewfinder is brighter. You can focus and compose easily even in the dark. The 100% coverage makes me feel more comfortable when composing.
The Nikon Z7 has the ability to shoot at intervals and timelapse, which is very conducive to artistic creation. How to transform nature into art, Nikon Z7 satisfies the creative ideas as. When adjusting the ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, exposure compensation, you can see the exactly shooting effect which is very helpful for photographers who are not good at post-production. This is also useful for beginners who don't understand the relationship between aperture and shutter speed.
The Nikon Z7's handling is similar to Nikon's DSLR. It comes with a 3.2 inch 2.1 megapixel LCD on the back that supports touch and folding. Z7 also supports the touch focus and the touch shutter. In many cases, it can even replace the physical shutter button. The folding screen has greatly improved the shooting angle which is very useful in microphotography. Using two fingers to enlarge the picture, you can easily get the focus point you want. The microfocus and peak focus on the Nikon Z7 is useful for macro photographers who have trouble with their eyesight.
As the saying goes, good tools are a prerequisite to the success of a good job.
All in all, the Nikon Z7 is a perfect camera for those who want to create more in the photography.
