Nikon Z6 Review
When we talk about Nikon Z7, we can't ignore its little brother Nikon Z6. Nikon Z7 and Z6 share a lot of features from the looks to the specs, the different CMOS decide their different target users.
The Nikon Z6 features a 24.5MP CMOS. It can achieve more balanced performance, better ISO and faster continuous focusing. The Z6 and Z7 focus systems are different. Although The 273 point focus system is not as powerful as Z7, the coverage areas have not been reduced caused by numbers of focus points.

Focusing test
As mentioned earlier, Nikon Z6 has 273 focus points, which is less than Z7. But the actual coverage area is still nice.
As you can see from the optional focus in the corners, the area that the peripheral focus can not cover is narrow.
Let's take a look at the burst shooting effect. Nikon Z6 can nicely capture the movement of a high-speed rotating object.

Anti-shake test
Theoretically, Nikon Z6 and Z7 should possess the same anti-shaking performance since they share the same CMOS displacement anti-shake. In fact, high-resolution requires more about anti-shake, so Nikon Z6 actually has better performance than Z7.
Nikon offers two anti-shake options for the Z6(the same for the Z7), standard and motion. Literally speaking, the motion may be more suitable for shooting moving objects and represent a more powerful anti-shake standard.
Besides, there is a practical function. When we playback to check the image stability, Nikon Z6 provides 100% zoom tip to avoid the wrong judgement because of the over-zooming.
Looks:
From the outside, Nikon the Z6 and Z 7 are almost the same. The only way to tell the difference is the model no., z6, and z7.
We can see the super eyecatching Z mount. Nikon Z mount possesses with 55mm lens diameter and 16mm short flange distance. which provides the freedom of lens development. Although Nikon first several lenses are relatively regular, the image quality is outstanding.
The backside does not continue Nikon DSLR conventional button layout, which matches the mirrorless design: convenient for one handing operating. Nikon Z6 keeps the level for quick focus switching which is nice. From this, Nikon Z7 is a mini version of Nikon D850. While Nikon Z6 obviously a better operation experience then D750.
The top screen is friendly to the older DSLR users.
