For the price I think overall this is a great buy! The magnification my be a little exaggerated however it does offer a clear image as long as the lens is absolutely clean. The main focus ring isn't all that smooth and the secondary focus ring is almost pointless. My biggest critique would be to include covers for the lenses. Overall this is a great product for the price.

A good alternative binoculars, and a Powerfultool to use for observing birds and other wildlife.
I bought this small monocular for the purpose of birdwatching. It works very well, it’s a light weight and small with a clear focus. I think it’s a very good alternative to binoculars which I have trouble focusing with my glasses. The only issue I have had with it is the strap broke the very first day, which means I have to be very careful about dropping it As I have not figured out how to fix it. I tried to safety pin it together but it was not very secure.

Nice optics and lightweight
After my wife explained that because her contacts were one for distance and one for close up, binoculars don't work for her, I got here this monocular. She used it locally bird watching and in Alaska watching wildlife and very much likes the images she sees. She added a lanyard to be able to wear it, especially on the cruise.

Good Scope for the Money
This is a great little scope for the money. I would have given it 5 starts but my only gripe is the focusing ring is not very smooth ... like it needs lubrication or something. This makes it difficult to focus. But with a little perseverance I can still do it. I'm sure the more expensive ones are smoother. But for $29 I can live with it. Otherwise it works great.
